this is the second time I have gone there and they have refused my service I went in before closing and literally was just told just now I need to get it to go because they're closing right now bad service never going to go there again

Food was great. I had the Thai noodle soup with beef and the meat was tough, but the soup was great! Crab rangoon are amazing!

. Really good food. The service was also a good experience. I ordered the "Drunken Noodle". It had a good flavor and enough food to fill you up.

Went in 7-8 minutes before closing and sat down to order and was rudely told that they were closing right now so I needed to order take out and then leave. Sucks when you go there a lot and get treated like that.

Nice local restaurant. The quality of service was good. The food was very tasty and were served in what I thought was quite large portions. The price was very very reasonable. My wife and I ate two dinners with ice tea for under $20 plus tip. If you are from Box Elder or are from the local area, I think it is a great place to have lunch or dinner for a very affordable price.

If you’re looking for a place with great ambience, this is not the place. If you’re looking for a place with great food, this is the place. I had crab ragoon which was homemade. I also had green curry, peppers, beans, with shrimp. Shrimp were small but plentiful. It was awesome. Staff are really nice too.

Very good authentic Thai restaurant. Has the best Pad Thai and Egg Rolls in town. Pad Thai is just as spicy as you want, sweet and salty with a great peanut flavor. The egg rolls are hot, crunchy, fresh, and melt in your mouth. Definitely recommend!

I've been coming to Baan Thai for over a year now. I've always received my curry in a clear tub, but for some reason, today it was in a styrofoam "to go" cup instead of the clear tub; which is noticeably a smaller portion than that is usually provided. Due to this, without warning might I add, and a few inconsistinceies in the past couple of months, I refuse to eat here anymore and will take my business elsewhere.

I read the reviews...some pretty harsh reviews... Slow service? Assumptions that because someone wears flip flops they don't follow good food handling protocols? Sound pretty spolied, and entitled to me.. maybe they should jack their prices up to meet the Applebee's, and Outbacks pricing. That way, you'd be able to pay 25$ per plate, and they can afford to hire, and probably keep, trained employees...I've been there several times, and the food has been great! BTW, flip flops in a kitchen are not a safe food handling issue, in the USA, it is for employees safety... Clearly this complaint comes from someone who has never been to Thailand, or an Asian country...and eaten there.lol.

I love Thai food and this is the only place in the area that provides it. Very clean and tidy and the food was delicious...

You can tell the owners really take pride in this place, clean, hot, fresh, delicious, amazing, get the crab rangoon! Worth the drive to box elder.

Food was okay... Kitchen staff was talking continuously and loudly through out.. no doubt they were having fun, but they can try to be low volume...

I decided to give this restaurant a second try, even though the first experience was not favorable. Unfortunately, again I am disappointed with the quality of the food. The curry was okay, what irritated me the most was the fresh spring rolls that was ripped and they were disrespectful enough to pack it in my container instead of making a new one. This expresses no pride in their job, poor customer service, in professional, and disrespectful. I'm never going to come back again. There is no three strikes... done at two.

Portions are rather small for the price. The taste was fine but the descriptions on the menu can be misleading. Also it took quite a while for is to get the food. And the space is quite cramped but it’s expected for the great location.

Fantastic food and the price for the quantity is more than worth it. The pad thai is a favorite and so is the garlic pad.

Doesn't look like much on the outside, but the food is the star attraction. The stir fry, the red curry chicken, and the spring roll were all very tasty. The portions are big. The service was adequate. Great find for a Thai restaurant near Rapid City.

Food has always been amazing. The ban ban tofu recipe changes level of spiciness every now and then but it's still oh so good. This restaurant is my wife and I's go to place.

The best Thai in the Rapid City Area. My to favorite dishes are the Pad Thai w/tofu and the Pad Kee Mow w/chicken. Great food every single visit...(and I go there a lot)

Slow!!!! Ended up walking out. Not even busy. Only 3 tables out of the whole place and watching everyone get food. I've been waiting 30 plus minutes and haven't even got the app. Edamame. Easiest thing to do on the entire menu.

Pretty good Thai, I've only ever gotten the curry and it's delicious. Green curry is my favorite. Large servings so you won't leave hungry.

OMG!!! This is the best Thai restaurant I ever have. I took my family who came from Thailand to see Mt. Rushmore and my mom get tried of American food, so my husband find this place for us and it so good!!! Remember to share because it so big.

Kind of lost out of the way but actually a short ride from the airport and on the way to the main highway. Bust mostly it is very decent Thai food in Rapid City! And extremely generous portions.

Everything I’ve had from here is really amazing! I love the drunken noodles(spicy) and the pad garlic! You really can’t go wrong with anything if you like this type of food! My husband and I get food from here at least once a week.
